Footnotes

The reference 5270 was first introduced at the Basel Fair in April 2011 and replaced the celebrated reference 5970. It joins Pateks imposing selection of perpetual calendar chronographs which have always been the most sought after complication for collectors.

Perpetual calendar chronographs have been in Patek Philippe's catalogue since 1941 with the Ref.1518. After 70 years, the introduction of 5270 holds the distinction of being the first perpetual calendar chronograph movement (Calibre 29-535 PS) since Patek Philippe introduced their first in-house chronograph movement in 2005.
