Footnotes

The term 'Fab Four' refers to British military pilot's watches produced by four watchmakers- CWC, Hamilton, Newmark and Precista throughout the 1970's and into the early 1980's. All were equipped with the classic Valjoux 7733 chronograph movement and housed within their iconic asymmetric case design. Newmark and Precista examples are the least common having only been issued for one year in 1981 and 1982 respectively. In time these movements were replaced by cheaper quartz chronographs.
