A huanghuali armchair
Mid Qing Dynasty
The chair with a straight top rail joined to back posts, continuing through the seat frame and forming the back legs, with a slightly curved central splat, the serpentine arms supported by curved stiles and continuing to the front posts, the legs joined by double stretchers set with straight struts below the rectangular frame. 99.5cm (39 1/4in) high x 64.5cm (25 1/2in) wide x 51cm (20in) deep.
