A pair of Mughal-style jadeite marriage bowls
Late Qing Dynasty/Republic period
The bowls well carved with elegantly rounded sides raising from short circular feet to everted rims, each flanked by a pair of loose-ring handles pendent from reticulated designs of blossoming chrysanthemums issuing from foliage, the translucent stone of a pale green tone with bright emerald-green and russet streaks, fitted box. 27cm (10 6/8in) wide.
