Isthmia.], text in Greek, 2 blank leaves, 2 woodcut devices on first leaf (that of Kallierges repeated on final leaf), large initial, several lines and letters printed in red on 2 leaves (Olympia and Pythia opening), old paper blindstamped label pasted in margin of title, ?eighteenth century ink annotations in Greek and Latin (some in body, mostly in margins, some cropped), nineteenth century green straight grain morocco by R. Storr, Grantham (with binder's label inside lower cover) [cf.Adams P1219-1221], 4to (224 x 158mm.), Rome, Zacharias Kallierges for Cornelio Benigno, [1515]

THE FIRST GREEK BOOK PRINTED AT ROME, and the first edition of this work with the 'Scholia'. Adams describes three variants; the present copy has the reading "της" ending the penultimate line of B4r, A1-2 are unsigned, and A3 has red printing.
