Interior portraits
Oil on canvas, giltwood frames, on the back red printed labels reading Youqua Painter/Old Street No. 34.
Each: 23cm (9in) x 27cm (10 5/8in) (2).

Footnotes

The artist Youqua had premises at No.34, Old Street, presumably Old China Street, Canton, and also at No.107, Queen's Road. He and his studio were responsible for a variety of high quality export paintings, including views of Hong Kong harbour and other treaty ports.
