A flambé-glazed archaistic vase, hu

Guangxu
The pear-shaped vase with subtly moulded peach-shaped cartouches to each side, raised on a straight foot rim and rising to a tapering quatre-lobed mouth flanked with lug handles, all covered in a deep scarlet transmutation glaze thinning to a violet streaked grey hue at the extremities, the base ground down.
