An imperial yellow-glazed bowl and an unusual yellow and ruby-ground enamelled bowl

Kangxi six-character mark and of the period and 18th century
The first bowl finely potted with elegantly flaring sides and raised on a short foot rim, glazed to the interior and exterior with a mustard yellow hue; the second bowl enamelled with scholars to the exterior, reserved on a bright yellow ground, the interior with lotus and peaches and reserved on a vivid crimson background.
The largest: 15cm (5 7/8in) diam. (2).
