A matched pair of gilt-decorated powder-blue baluster vases

18th century
The first with a hexagonal body finely painted in gilt with a court building, with an extensive calligraphic inscription to the other faces, the waisted neck flanked with stylised lingzhi handles; the second similarly decorated but with figural scenes to both sides.
The largest: 55.5cm (21 3/4in) high (2).
