A polychrome-enamelled square 'Immortals' vase

The vase modelled on a Song Dynasty ceramic form, in turn after a Neolithic ritual jade tube, cong, each face with panels enclosing Shoulao and Xiwangmu surrounded with a moulded wave border, reserved on a gilt-decorated coral ground, the base with an apocryphal Xuande seal mark. 31.5cm (12 3/8in) high
