the Lightfoot profile depicting a gentleman facing dexter, the rear with printed trade label in oval gilt metal frame, the Miers and Field portraits all attributable to John Field, the portrait of Admiral Nicholls facing dexter, the rear with trade label No. 12, the others comprising a portrait of a gentleman facing dexter wearing spectacles, the rear with trade label No. 12, another portrait facing dexter and a portrait of William Briggs facing sinister, the rear with Miers label, all in papier mache rectangular frames,

Henry Nicholls became a captain of the Royal Navy aged 30 and in 1793 commanded the Royal Sovereign against the French.
