Four early 19th century bust profile portrait silhouettes on plaster of gentleman by Miers and Field (British, 1756-1821 and 1771-1841)

one attributable to John Field, two attributable to John Miers
the first portrait attributed to Field looking to dexter wearing a coat with bronzed highlights, the rear with Miers and Field label, No. 1, the two attributable to Miers both looking to dexter in black comprising a profile of Mr M. Nichen looking wearing robes and mortar board, the rear with remains of No. 12 trade label and a profile of Rev. Edward Tucker , the rear with remains of No. 11 trade label, the last depicting a profile of General Maxwell looking to dexter with shaded bronzed highlights, the rear with paper trade label and sitters name in ink, all mounted within rectangular papier mache frames with gilt mounts,

each 8cm x 6.5cm, unframed (4)
