An impressive Silk Souf Kashan carpet

Central Persia,
on striking yellow ground with metallic thread, the central scene depicting the ancient Persian (pre-Islamic) ruins at Persepolis, the four inner cartouches after a plate in the Hermitage depicting Sasanian king Shapur II hunting, other friezes showing lions and courtiers, other cartouches seem to depict buildings in Isfahan, including the thirty three-arched bridge, the Si-o-se Pol

The four inner cartouches showing the hunting scenes are after a silver plate in the Hermitage depicting the Sasanian king Shapur II pursuing lions, measuring 22.9 cm in diameter. The piece was found in 1927 along with several other Byzantine, Sasanian and Central Asian dishes.
