Launched in 2013, the Patek Philippe Ref. 5539 is now discontinued and stems from an unrivalled, powerful lineage of minute repeating tourbillon wristwatches, including the Ref. 5339 and the Ref. 3939. This model is only available in white gold, and the black dial version was joined by a blue dial version in 2016. Patek Philippe minute repeaters are arguably the most sought-after complication by this maker, as each repeater undergoes the most rigorous testing and sound mapping analysis in a sound-proof chamber before final presentation to Thierry Stern, President of Patek Philippe, whose final approval must be obtained before the watch leaves the workshop.

The Ref. 5539, the present example, features a black enamel dial and Breguet numerals, within a distinguished, polished 18k white gold Officer-style case. The interplay of white gold accents and black enamel embody the subtlety and elegance of this renowned watch manufacturer. The slide is discretely activated on the left band of the watch, whilst two miniaturized hammers strike two perfectly sculpted gongs encircling caliber RTO 27 PS, chiming to its wearer the time in hour, quarters and minutes in crisp tones. The precision-enhancing tourbillon and unique movement number is demarcated upon the black enamel dial in the subsidiary seconds ring, as a testament to the rigorous testing this Ref. 5539 has undergone.

百達翡麗5539G

百達翡麗5539型號於2013年面世，現已絕版，加上收藏家趨之若䳱的大小自鳴時計，份外罕有。5539型號秉承5339型號及3939型號等不凡的卓越三問腕錶血統，只有白金版，原為黑色表面，自於2016年加添了藍色錶面版本。百達翡麗三問組件可謂該廠最受歡迎的複雜功能，每枚皆於隔音室通過嚴格之測試及Sound Mapping Analysis ，方經由百達翡麗總裁Thierry Stern最終審核出廠。

此枚5539型號有黑色珐瑯錶面及寶璣數字，外為醒目的18K白金軍官式樣錶殻。黑色珐瑯上的白金紋路配合得宜，含蓄而優雅。滑動按鈕巧妙地藏於左邊，兩個小音槌敲動精準的音簧環抱RTO 27 PS錶芯，按時、刻、分清脆報時。高精度陀飛輪及獨特的機芯編號在黑色計秒珐瑯錶面上，証明此枚5539型號通過嚴格測試。據知此型號歷來僅有三枚於拍賣場上出現。
