Folio. Printed on vellum, historiated initials in colors at the beginning of each book. Contemporary red morocco gilt decorated and ruled in gilt and blind, spine with 5 raised bands, marbled endpapers, cloth slipcase. Rubbed at high points of binding, otherwise fine.
Provenance: Philip H. and A.S.W. Rosenbach Museum Library (bookplate); The Garden Ltd. (booklabel, sold his sale, Sotheby's New York, November 10, 1989, lot 281).

LIMITED EDITION ON VELLUM, THE GARDEN COPY,, one of 2 unnumbered Hors de Commerce copies on vellum, from a total of 12 on vellum. This was volume 3 of the King's Library series published by De la More Press, edited by Israel Gollancz.
