FIRST EDITION of the libretto by Coppola for a production celebrating the marriage of Ferdinand II de Medici to Princess Vittoria della Rovere of Urbino. The story is a celebration of the wedding of Vulcan to Venus. The etchings were rendered by Stefano Della Bella after set designs by Alfonso Parigi.
