JFK'S FINAL WHITE HOUSE EVENT.

Official White House reception invitation, printed on white card stock, 103 x 155 mm, for a reception taking place November 20, 1963 at 6:30 pm, with space for the name of the attendee remaining blank; mounted together with a White House automobile parking pass, printed on yellow paper, 83 x 112 mm, a photo of JFK and Jackie with printed generic inscription and facsimile signatures, and an explanatory plaque. Matted and framed to 495 x 580 mm overall.

The reception for the Justices of the Supreme Court held at the White House on Wednesday, November 20, 1963 was the last official White House event of the Kennedy administration. Others in attendance included Attorney General Robert Kennedy, who was celebrating his 38th birthday. Bobby was heard at the reception saying that he didn't want his brother to go to Texas. JFK dutifully departed for Texas the next day, never to return.
