SIGNED JFK PROFILE PORTRAIT.

KARSH, YOUSUF. 1908-2002. John F. Kennedy. Photograph signed ("John Kennedy") and inscribed, gelatin silver print, 505 x 405 mm, 1960, inscribed by Kennedy, "To Dwight McKay, Best Wishes, John Kennedy" in ink on the white area of his shirt collar. Trimmed to image, matted.

A striking profile image of Kennedy, taken by Karsh in the Kennedy Senate office during his run for President during 1960. Karsh was perhaps the most renowned photographer of notable individuals during the second half of the twentieth century. His subjects included artists, popular cultural icons, musicians, politicians, and royalty.
