The master mould for this form is in the Victoria and Albert Museum (326-1889). Examples occur in saltglaze stoneware, creamware and redware. The panels are taken from George Edwards' and Matthias Darly's New Book of Chinese Designs, first published in London in 1754. See Diana Edwards, The influence of Salt-Glazed Stoneware on Creamware, Creamware and Pearlware Re-Examined (2005), p. 152.
