Shards similar to the paw feet and acorn knop were excavated at Humphrey Palmer's factory in Hanley as were examples bearing blue-stained sprigs. See Diana Edwards and Rodney Hampson, White Salt-Glazed Stoneware (2005), figs.215 and 223 and colour plate 187. A teapot bearing the same sprigs is shown at colour plate 35.
