Illustrated by John Sandon, Dictionary of Worcester Porcelain (1993), p. 284. The technique of reticulation was clearly introduced to Worcester by a craftsman from Staffordshire or Yorkshire trained in the manufacture of creamware. Worcester was the only porcelain maker to attempt this distinctive form of pierced ornament. The meticulous process must have been difficult and no doubt costly, and as a result very little seems to have been made at Worcester
