A Staffordshire creamware 'melon ware' teapot and cover, circa 1765

Of globular form, the scrolled handle with an applied leaf and flower terminal, the surface jiggered with tightly-spaced horizontal lines of tiny dots, decorated with alternate vertical stripes of green and yellow, the cover with a bud finial, 11.1cm high (2)
