Two Meissen chariot figures of Neptune and Venus circa 1750-55

Each seated on a gilt-edged, shell-moulded chariot, Venus hlding a mirror and wearing floral yellow drapery with jewelled straps, attanded by Cupid and with two doves at the front, Neptune wearing puce-lined yellow floral drapery, holding a trident and attended by a winged triton holding a conch shell, 18.5cm and 19.5cm high, crossed swords marks in underglaze-blue (some restoration) (2)
