A rare Capodimonte figure of a lady with a monkey, circa 1750

Modelled by Giusepe Gricci, holding the hand of a monkey dressed in a child's tunic, with a fruit in her right hand, wearing a green hat with gilt feather, gilt scarf, yellow and gilt-sleeved tunic and white skirt edged in purple, the rockwork base with impressed foliage, 15.5cm high, impressed fleur-de-lys mark (minor restoration, faint haircrack to rear of base)
