A Meissen dish, circa 1740

Painted in Kakiemon style with the 'Three Friends of Winter': prunus, pine and bamboo issuing from stylised rockwork with a bird perched on one branch and another in flight, brown-edged rim, 25.7cm diam., crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue, impressed 20 and / inside footrim (minor flaking and rubbing to enamels)
