A Meissen plate, circa 1730-35

Painted in famille verte style with a bonsai tree surrounded by small rocks and mushrooms in a colourful flower pot, a gilt and iron-red stylised foliate border around the edge of the well, the brown-edged rim with four flowering branches, 23.8cm diam., crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue, impressed Dreher's mark probably for Johann Christoph Pietzsch
