A Meissen Cris de Paris figure of a vegetable seller, circa 1755

Modelled by Peter Reinicke, the lady wearing a yellow bodice, green skirt and white apron, holding a basket with green vegetables, a knife strapped to her hip, the base moulded with gilt-edged rocailles and applied with a leaf and flower, 13.8cm high, crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue to the rear of the base, impressed numeral 5 (some damage to extremities)
