A Meissen yellow-ground milk jug, circa 1735

Each side reserved with a gilt-edged quatrelobe cartouche depicting an estuary and Kauffahrtei scene, the rims and moulded spout gilt, scrolling handle heightened in gilding, 15.4cm high, crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue, gilt D.
