A pair of Meissen small plates, circa 1735

Each painted in Imari style in underglaze-blue, enamels and gilding, with sprays of indianische Blumen and lambrequin borders, the reverse with flowering branches in underglaze-blue and iron-red, 20.5cm diam., crossed swords marks, dot and dash mark in underglaze-blue, incised v to footrims (two tiny restored rim chips, very minor retouching to gilding) (2)

Please note that the second plate has a single small restored flat chip to the top edge of the rim. The condition is otherwise as noted in the catalogue.
