A Meissen hexagonal vase and cover, first half 19th century

Each side moulded with a hexagonal panel alternatingly depicting a chinoiserie landscape and flowers, surrounded by a gilt moulded diaper pattern, stylised green and yellow bamboo between each side, the shoulders and neck similarly decorated, the foot pierced and decorated with gilt and iron-red scrollwork, the cover with moulded diaper pattern, stylised bamboo and gilt finial, 31.5cm high, crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue, incised J 10, incised 50 (2)
