A Meissen group of a seated couple, late 19th century

After the 18th century model by J.J. Kaendler, the lady playing a mandolin wearing a pale green and floral gown, the gentleman next to her playing a flute wearing a purple coat over a striped and patterned waistcoat, both seated on a sofa with puce upholstery, a pug seated between them, 15cm high, 22cm wide, crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue and one cancellation mark, incised model number W.56, impressed numeral and painter's numeral (some chips)
