A Sèvres blue-ground cup and saucer, circa 1777, together with a Mennecy moulded needlecase, circa 1745

Gobelet 'Hébert' et soucoupe of the second size, the blue ground with gilt scrollwork enclosing panels of trellis pattern, gilt dentil borders to the rims, the cup's twisting handle heightened in gilding, the needlecase with moulded oriental flowers, with silver mounts with French discharge mark, the needlecase: 12.3cm long interlaced LL monograms and . in gilding, painter's marks for Taillandier (rubbing to saucer, tiny rim chips to cup) (3)
