A Sèvres bleu-céleste ground cup and saucer, circa 1767

Gobelet 'bouillard' et soucoupe of the first size, the blue ground embellished with gilt dots and reserved with gilt-edged panels enclosing birds in landscapes, gilt dentil borders to rims, interlaced LL monograms enclosing date letter O, painter's marks for A.-J. Chappuis, incised marks (minor scratches to enamels on saucer) (2)
