An Important Louis XV style gilt bronze mounted mahogany cylinder bureau by François Linke, Paris


Circa 1900
The pierced balustrade gallery top centred by a double-faced clock signed both sides F. Linke, flanked to each side by three-light caryatids, the roll-top desk fitted to the interior with secret drawers and release buttons, above three frieze drawers, on cabriole legs each headed by a winged caryatid, raised on paw feet, one mount signed to the side F. Linke.
