Footnotes

The Bijai Mandal is part of the ruins of Jahanpahah, the fourth city built on the site of what became Delhi, built by Muhammad bin Tughluq (reg. 1325-51). The other buildings seen in the background to the left may be the Khirki Mosque, the Dargh of Chiragh and the tomb of Bahlul Lodi.
