A silver-mounted Indian colonial carved hardwood staff

Early 19th century
The pommel topped by a foliate engraved silver parasol-shaped terminal and further, possibly later, strengthened by two crossing straps, the entire shaft carved with scrolling foliage in a spiral design, silver ferrule.
