A .44 (W.C.F.) 'Model 1873' lever-action saddle-ring carbine by Winchester, no. 645741B (dated 1911)

The 'Third Model' receiver with dust-cover and integral rail, plain with some blued finish, the top tang drilled and tapped for a sight, set trigger, ring and staple, the stock with crescent steel butt-plate and trap (with 3-piece cleaning rod), the round barrel engraved Winchester's-Repeating Arms. New Haven. CT. King's-Improvement-Patented-March 29.1866.October 16.1860. with full-length magazine-tube, steel post foresight with lug forged on barrel and carbine ladder rear-sight stamped 1873
