The 'Second Model' fluted receiver plain, retaining some blued finish, the top of receiver in front of action with matt engraving, the top tang with Model 95 -Winchester- Trade Mark Reg.In U.S. Pat. Off, the figured stock stamped B.S.S. on each side, with 980 stamped underneath, with shotgun butt and chequered steel butt-plate (probably replacement), drilled for sling-swivels, the forend with ebony insert, the round nickel steel barrel with Lyman patent foresight and four leaf express rear-sight fixed for 100 yards and folding for 200, 300 and 400
