The toplever and rib numbered '2', best bouquet and foliate-scroll engraving, much renewed hardening-colour, cocking-indicators, figured replacement stock, the chopper-lump barrels with game-rib engraved J. Purdey & Sons, Audley House, South Audley Street, London, England and Made of Sir Joseph Whitworth's Fluid Pressed Steel
Weight 6lb. 3oz., 14⅝in. stock, 27in. barrels, approx. I.C. & ⅜ choke, 2½in. chambers, London nitro proof (left barrel-thicknesses at 20 thou)

The makers have kindly confirmed that this gun was completed in August 1930 for Sir Jas. Croft, and sold in August 1933 to Mr Campbell-Johnston who had the stock replaced
