Treble-grip action-body with concealed third-bite, toplever with later gold-encrusted pigeon, best bouquet and foliate-scroll engraving, cocking-indicators, the well-figured replacement stock with plastic butt-plate (forend wood split), the barrels with game-rib engraved J. Purdey & Sons, Audley House, South Audley Street, London in later gold inlay with barrel-bands and engraved Made of Sir Joseph Whitworth's Fluid Pressed Steel, with later dogs-head foresight
