The action incorporating Grant & Hodges patent No. 650, the rib, forend and lower tang numbered '4', sidelever, rebounding backlocks, percussion fences, best foliate-scroll engraving, well-figured stock (cracked at hand) with plastic butt-plate, forend with spring-wedge release (some minor cracks), the browned damascus barrels (heavily pitted) with game-rib engraved Stephen Grant, 67A St James's Street, London
