Bolt-head safety with Safe inlaid in gold, the receiver engraved with bold foliate-scrollwork on a matt ground, with recoil-blocks, hinged-magazine floorplate engraved with a vignette of a cape buffalo surrounded by bold foliate-scrollwork with Cal .416 inlaid in gold, full colour-hardened and blued finish, the well-figured stock with pistolgrip, engraved colour-hardened pistolgrip-cap with trap, cheek-piece and recoil-pad, sling-swivels, the barrel with C. Hellis & Sons, London inlaid in gold, with block-mounted open-sights, fixed for 50 yards, and two folding leaf-sights for 100 & 200 yards, with gold-inlaid sight lines, and ramp-mounted bead-foresight with folding moon-sight, the receiver mounted with a Swarovski Z6i 1-6x24 EE telescope-sight in colour-hardened Holland & Holland style quickly-detachable mounts with C.
