Side-safety with Lock-Safe-Fire inlaid in gold, the receiver and bolt-head finely engraved with bold foliate-scrollwork on a matt ground, with thumb-recess and charger-guide, engraved and colour-hardened recoil-blocks, hinged-magazine floorplate engraved with a vignette of an antelope surrounded by finely-engraved bold foliate-scrollwork with Cal 6.5x55 inlaid in gold, well-figured stock with pistolgrip (cap absent), cheek-piece and recoil-pad, the barrel with C. Hellis & Sons, London, England inlaid in gold, with block-mounted open-sights and two leaf-sights sighted for 100, 200 & 300 yards, with gold-inlaid sight lines, and ramp-mounted bead-foresight with protector, the receiver mounted with a Swarovski Z6i 2-12x50 telescope-sight in colour-hardened Holland & Holland-style quickly-detachable mounts with C.
