A Pair of 22-Bore Flintlock Silver-Mounted Turn-Off Pistols

With three-stage cannon barrels, rounded tapering breeches each engraved 'London' in script and decorated with a band of foliage in front of a ramp at the rear, and signed in script beneath each steel-spring, shaped border engraved tangs decorated with foliage, rounded cocks en suite (one expertly replaced, steels repaired), border engraved trigger-guards each with a floret on the bow, figured rounded butts (minor old repair) each carved with a shell behind the barrel tang, cast and chased mounts comprising trophies of arms side-plates, vacant foliate escutcheons, and grotesque mask butt-caps, London proof marks and Wilson's barrelsmith's mark (2)
