A Small Pair Of 80-Bore Flintlock Box-Lock Pocket Pistols

With turn-off cannon barrels each engraved with a broad band of foliage around the breech, and one numbered '1' to one side of the lug, rounded actions (defective) each signed on a foliate scroll over both sides, sliding trigger-guard safety-catches each engraved with a flower-head on the bow, figured rounded butts inlaid with silver wire scrollwork (some losses, more so on one than on the other), and unusual border engraved silver grotesque mask butt-caps each engraved with a flower-head on the tang (some wear and rust patination), Tower private proof marks (2)
