An 18-Bore Flintlock D.B. Pistol
By Fishender, Tonbridge, Circa 1825

With re-browned twist sighted barrels (barrel-wedge replaced) engraved 'Tonbridge' along the rib between the breeches, border engraved tang decorated with foliage and with a starburst in the sighting groove, signed border engraved flat bevelled locks each decorated with a martial trophy in front of the stepped tail and with rainproof pan and roller, foliate engraved cocks, figured half-stock with chequered rounded butt, trigger-guard with pineapple finial and decorated with a martial trophy and foliage on the large border engraved bow, foliate engraved rear ramrod-pipe, and original brass-mounted ramrod, Birmingham proof marks
