An 18-Bore Flintlock Service Pistol Of Light Dragoon Type
Circa 1835

With plain barrel and tang, border engraved flat bevelled lock (some pitting, cock and retaining screw replaced) with 'WR' crowned, figured full stock (split opposite the lock) with apron around the barrel tang, brass mounts of regulation type, and later brass-tipped ramrod, poorly struck King's proof marks; together with a Continental percussion pistol, late 19th century, with two-stage barrel, octagonal breech crudely engraved 'London', flat lock and hammer crudely engraved with foliage, ebonised full stock with fluted butt, brass butt-cap and trigger-guard, and no provision for a ramrod (2)
