An English Silver-Hilted Small-Sword
London Silver Hallmark For 1761, Silversmith's Mark TC

With colichemarde blade (some wear overall) of sharply tapering section etched on both sides of the forte with foliated strapwork centred on a prancing horse on one side, and a star in an oval on the other, hilt cast and chased with gadrooning and comprising asymmetrical double shell-guard with moulded borders, arms, lobed rear quillon, globular pommel with turned button, and grip bound with silver ribbon and two thicknesses of silver wire
