Comprising an 1853 pattern cavalry trooper's sword, with curved fullered blade stamped 'Rodwell & Co.' on one side of the forte, regulation two-bar hilt stamped 'N.S.BDA.' within a waved border, and chequered leather grips, in steel-mounted black leather scabbard; a robe-sword, with very slender blade retaining some etched and blued decoration, and cruciform hilt with writhen wire-bound fishskin-covered grip, in its original steel-mounted scabbard covered in black leather (damaged), the locket engraved with an indistinct baron's crest on one side, and with two suspension rings (hilt and scabbard mounts with light pitting); a dagger with carved ivory grip; a fullered kaskara blade; and a decorative sword for the tourist market (5)
