With two-stage barrel with tapering sighting flat and retained by a silver muzzle band pierced and engraved with foliage, the breech flats cut with pairs of lines and with a silver ramp at the rear, silver-covered tang chased with scrolling foliage, flat bevelled lock and cock set with silver panels chased with foliage, hardwood full stock inlaid overall with engraved foliate cage work secured by pins and enclosing numerous circular and ovoidal pieces of red coral (corallium rubrum), silver mounts comprising faceted spurred pommel with red coral terminal, trigger-guard with engraved foliate finial and inscribed with maker's name in Arabic script on the tang, false faceted silver ramrod-pipes, and false spirally-twist silver ramrod
